Arrow ECS lands Isilon deal

Distributor clinches UK-wide distribution agreement with EMC-owned NAS vendor

Arrow ECS has signed a UK-wide distribution deal with EMC-owned NAS vendor Isilon.

The vendor was acquired last November by storage behemoth EMC, whose products are also distributed by Arrow ECS in the UK.

Peter Goddan, northern EMEA country manager at Isilon, said: "We are pleased that Arrow ECS [already] has a successful and long-standing relationship with EMC."

In a statement, Arrow added that Isilon's scale-out storage products will widen the range of cloud-enabling technologies in its portfolio.

Steve Pearce, UK managing director of Arrow ECS, said: "As we work to help organisations move to the cloud, Isilon is an important addition in providing best-in-class infrastructure solutions for resellers of all sizes.

"Arrow ECS is focused on strengthening our established cloud computing and managed services support, [and] delivering on that strategy by forming new relationships with technology leaders."
