Viglen celebrates the treble
System builder bags three separate academy contracts worth a total of £4.5m
Viglen has scooped a treble contract win for three new-build academies across the UK, worth a total of £4.5m.
Under the terms of the deal, Viglen will supply the three academies – Bedford Academy, All Saints Academy Dunstable and the Skinners Kent Academy – with ICT solutions and support for between three to four years.
Viglen’s success follows its placement on the Becta ICT Framework last year, which it claims has allowed it to beat its competitors to eight multimillion-pound contract wins.
The latest contract wins will see more than 3,000 students across the three educational institutions benefit from Viglen’s ICT solutions and services.
Bordan Tkachuk, chief executive of Viglen, said: “It’s really exciting news for Viglen to be the chosen ICT solutions provider for these three academies.
“We are thrilled that our products will be at the centre of education excellence in such high-profile institutions. The academy sector is key for us and it is a great coup to have these projects on board.”
He added that the three latest wins confirm Viglen as a major contender in the new academies education sector.
