Hammer hits on NetApp success
Distributor expands partnership with storage vendor to cover full portfolio
Storage distributor Hammer has been handed the keys to NetApp's entire product portfolio in recognition of its success with the brand over the past two years.
The Basingstoke-based firm became one of NetApp's Silver-certified distribution partners in 2009, and has now been given greater access to the firm's hardware and software products.
Hammer cited the work it has done to support and train partners in NetApp's products, as well as the investments made in its technical and sales teams, as reasons why the partnership has been expanded.
Jason Beeson, solutions director at Hammer, said: "We have been growing with our partners and can now service them on all levels, no matter what NetApp requirements they have – all backed by our value-added services.
"Our goal is to continue nurturing NetApp partners, whatever level they may be, and to help them maximise the superb opportunity that NetApp presents."
Pete Rawden, NetApp's UK and Ireland partner sales director, said: "I am confident that this strengthening of our relationship will result not only in continued growth, but also in an improved range of resources being made available to Hammer's partners."
