Signagelive hires LG man to develop EMEA channel
Broad experience brought to bear on cloud-based digital signage channel
Essex-based digital-signage-as-a-service provider Signagelive has appointed LG's Roy Martin (pictured) as its new EMEA channel development manager.
According to Jason Cremins, chief executive at Remote Media, trading as Signagelive, Martin will be responsible for hunting out new AV and IT distributors and strategic partners across EMEA in key verticals, including retail and hospitality.
"Martin's experience and understanding of the AV and digital signage sector, coupled with his involvement in both hospitality and retail projects, provide us with a wealth of knowledge and commercial acumen that will enable us to unlock new and exciting commercial opportunities," Cremins said.
Martin comes from LG, where he was technical manager for B2B customers in the UK and Ireland, supporting internal accounts managers and marketing staff as well as distributors and key resellers. He focused on projectors, hotel TVs, digital signage, 3D, commercial displays, videoconferencing and monitors at the vendor.
"I have been an admirer of the Signagelive platform and support the business can provide. I have been placed into a fantastic role with the company," said Martin. "I am a firm believer in good support and good product."
Previously, he worked at MediaZest and has been involved in a large-scale rollout of Barclays Premier banking across EMEA and projects in India, the UAE, Africa, North America and Europe.
