SCC makes cross-channel dash for latest acquisition
Integrator makes good on European expansion plans by snapping up Paris-based VAR LNA
Integrator SCC has reinforced its commitment to the French IT market by acquiring Paris-based VAR LNA.
SCC's new purchase posted a turnover of £58m last year, employs 77 staff and specialises in storage, networking and print services.
In a statement, SCC – which is part of UK-based IT group SCH – said the buyout was part of its wider European expansion plans.
James Rigby (pictured), managing director of SCC, said: "This is a major investment that both reaffirms our ambitions for the French market and greatly enhances our position in the country.
"The acquisition will not only strengthen our local infrastructure solutions capability, but will also accelerate the growth of our business services division."
Didier Lejeune, deputy general manager of SCC in France, said LNA's client base and managed services contracts were a big lure for the firm.
"LNA's reputation for delivering major managed services contracts has helped it to grow and manage a high-quality client base, and this deal represents an important step in the development of SCC in France," he added.
Thierry Martin, managing director of LNA, said: "I am confident that under the SCC banner, our company can look forward to years of further success."
