Maverick holds first Irish AV event

Audiovisual distributor takes education event to Eire

Distributor Maverick is taking its successful AV Academy concept to Irish resellers, holding the first event near Dublin on 5 October.

Sid Stanley (pictured), head of Maverick UK and Ireland, said it demonstrated the distributor's commitment to the Irish market.

"We are always striving to help our partners to open up new potential opportunities with new and existing solutions that they can take to market," Stanley said.

"The AV Academy will give resellers the opportunity to see some of the very latest solutions and talk to our experts about how they can grow their business and the many ways we can help them do that."

The one-day event will be held at the Stillorgan Park Hotel to the south of Dublin, and be sponsored by interactive whiteboard vendor Promethean - with which Maverick holds exclusive rights to Irish distribution.

Other suppliers presenting in Dublin on the day include Sony, Epson, BenQ, InFocus, and iiyama.
