Zenprise launches UK VAR hunt

Mobile device management vendor marks launch of partner programme by unveiling reseller recruitment plans

Mobile device management vendor Zenprise has unveiled its partner programme and is now on the hunt for security and mobility specialist VARs to populate it.

The company makes software that allows businesses to secure and manage their employees' smartphone and tablet devices by controlling access to network connections, applications and work documents.

It recently launched its partner programme in the UK, which categorises VARs as Authorised or Premium based on the revenue they generate and how much they invest in training.

In return, Zenprise claims partners will obtain access to deal registration, marketing tools, technical assistance and numerous margin-building opportunities.

"There are several ways for partners to add value on top of the products," explained Ahmed Datoo, chief marketing officer at Zenprise. "For instance, by helping businesses define what their security policies should be and by working with customers to integrate these devices within the workplace."

Datoo said the firm is now actively recruiting VARs in the UK to market the products, particularly those with skills in security, mobility and applications.

"We are operating a high-yield model, where we will work with a few, highly focused VARs," said Datoo. "The partner programme is very simple and should provide us with a good foundation for growth over the next 12 to 18 months. Depending on how the partner recruitment goes, this could mean adding another tier to the [reseller] programme."
