Lenovo launches back-end rebate scheme for SMB VARs
Vendor aims to drive sales with money-back offer
Hardware vendor Lenovo has given its volume channel a boost with a new range of back-end rebates.
The programme applies to resellers outside the vendor's circle of Premium partners and offers payments on sales of Lenovo's TopSeller products. However, the scheme cannot be used alongside any other incentive programme.
Partners must sell a minimum of 10 units to qualify, and orders of between 10 and 24 units will entitle VARs to a rebate of €5 per unit. This will rise to €10 for orders of 25 to 49 units, and €15 for those north of the 50 mark. Rebates will be paid quarterly into resellers' bank accounts.
Darren Phelps, Lenovo's UK channel sales director, said: "In Lenovo we are constantly improving the way we do business with our partners to help them drive significant growth and generate higher profit. Lenovo's new loyalty programme is another example of our focus on bringing new benefits that allow our partners to earn more, more easily.
"Our new channel programme meets a double objective: helping business partners that are committed to Lenovo to grow faster and maximise profit, and accelerating our growth in the SMB space, which is one of our strategic priorities to continue outperforming the market."
