SDG pairs up with Centrix Software
Deal will see the distributor recruit new partners on behalf of the vendor and add its products to its virtualisation and cloud portfolio
SDG has signed a distribution deal with virtualisation vendor Centrix Software to help it widen its UK footprint.
The Birmingham-HQ distributor will market and support Centrix WorkSpace solutions within its IQ-Sys portfolio and offer marketing, presales and sales support, as well as access to its demonstration facilities.
Centrix currently has 35 partners across the UK and is intending to recruit a significant number more over the coming year.
Lewis Gee, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Centrix Software, said: "Our partnership with SDG brings numerous benefits to our partner network, which has grown by more than 100 per cent over the last 12 months. SDG’s enterprise technology consultants, channel services and demonstration facilities are exceptional, providing partners with a variety of support and expertise.
“With this new distribution partnership our resellers will have access to a depth of knowledge and experience around virtualisation and next-generation enterprise technologies to help them develop their customer and market opportunities," he added.
Paul Eccleston, EMEA managing director of SDG, said: "SDG has developed a structured and staged approach to enable our partners to design and implement any desktop transformation initiative. The recent appointment of Centrix Software to the IQ-Sys portfolio will assist SDG in enabling our partners to deliver a best-of-breed end-to-end desktop transformation solution. The Centrix Software solution will deliver a crucial piece of the desktop transformation journey, helping to accelerate the potential adoption of new technologies such as virtualisation and cloud services.”
