Sage shuffles UK management pack
Jayne Archbold, Lee Perkins and Jim Scott handed new briefs at business software goliath
Business software vendor Sage UK has shuffled its management deck following the departure of mid-market division managing director Greg Ford.
Stepping into Ford's old role is Jayne Archbold, who was previously managing director of the accountants division.
The accountants division will now be helmed by Jim Scott, a Sage veteran who was previously head of SageCover – the vendor's business and software support service.
Finally, Sage confirmed that former Computer 2000 managing director Lee Perkins (pictured) has joined the firm as managing director of its small business division. He joined the company in July after leaving the distributor in April.
Sage UK chief executive Brendan Flattery said: "At Sage, we believe strongly in managing talent and developing great leaders across the business that inspire, motivate, lead by example and empower their teams to be the best they can be.
"Jayne, Jim and Lee's appointments represent the next generation of leadership for the UK business and mark an exciting new era for the company."
Sage confirmed that Ford has left Sage after ten years to "pursue another opportunity", although declined to go into specifics.
