Azlan rings management changes

Distributor's latest series of appointments strengthens its focus on key vendor partners and aligns the UK business with Europe

Azlan has announced a series of new management appointments as the distributor gears up for its next phase of growth and development.

The distributor claimed the changes refocus activity on key vendor partners and bring the structure of the UK business more in line with its European business.

From 1 December, Mark Wheeler will become the Azlan Cisco Business Unit director with full responsibility for the Cisco Business. Kevin Markwick will become the Azlan IBM and Services Business Unit director and will be tasked with building and developing Azlan’s services offering, and Joel Chimoindes has become Azlan Solution Evangelist director, challenged with creating and developing vendor-agnostic solutions.

Colin McGregor, director of Azlan UK, said: “This new management structure will enable Azlan’s teams to focus more clearly and distinctly on key targets and to drive the business forwards in close alignment with our colleagues in Europe, sharing best practice and ensuring that we deliver positive results for our customers, vendor partners and our own business.

“Azlan has made great strides in recent months and with this highly competent and enthusiastic management team in place, I am confident that we can continue to build on that momentum."
