HP PSG loses UK and Ireland channel sales director

Trevor Evans heads off to pastures new

HP's PSG UK and Ireland channel sales director Trevor Evans (pictured) is leaving the company after seven years, CRN has learned.

It is believed he will be taking up a role at Apple in the new year, although CRN was unable to confirm at the time of going to press.

CRN also understands from a source that Pascal Bourgeut, consumer sales manager at HP will assume the reins until a permanent replacement can be found.

HP's PSG division has been the subject of much speculation this year after former chief executive Leo Apotheker announced it would either sell or spin off the business, but after much speculation, new chief executive Meg Whitman announced it would be keeping the business.

Evans told CRN at the time that it had always been business as usual for HP PSG and that the business was focused on growth.

CRN is awaiting a statement from HP.

Evans was unavailable for comment.
