Distribution veteran moves to Maverick team

Julian Klein has followed up stints at Ingram Micro, Steljes, and an earlier period at C2000 by taking on a role as European development director at audiovisual specialist Maverick.

Jon Sidwick (pictured), director of Maverick Europe, said in a statement that it took time to find someone for the position.

"It took a while for us to find the right person for the job. Klein has a proven track record at a senior level in IT and AV distribution, giving him a strong background that will be invaluable to us as we grow our specialist, technical distribution services," he said.

Klein -- who previously spent 10 years at Maverick's parent firm C2000 -- will be expected to help develop the distributor's markets and partnerships in different countries throughout Europe. So far, Maverick has expanded into nine European markets.
