HP aims to make networking partners more profitable
Vendor launches new wave of certifications and bolsters its partner training offering
HP has launched three new networking certifications and grouped them all under the PartnerOne programme.
The vendor claimed the move will help its networking channel partners increase market competitiveness and revenue opportunities through programme discounts, growth accelerators and rebates.
Its new networking certifications are: Registered Networking Specialisation, Professional Networking Specialistion and Advanced Networking Specialisation.
Thomas Albrecht, head of the HPN Competence Centre at partner Bechtle, welcomed the move. “These new classifications represent a dynamic market opportunity in networking and make it easier for us to do business with HP. We look forward to growing our networking business as a result,” he said.
HP has also bolstered its ExpertOne programme, which offers partners training and education in the vendor’s converged infrastructure.
Additions to this programme include hands-on technical and certification training delivered through HP ExpertOne learning solution partners, including customised courses and access to remote labs and web-based learning; access to training materials and study guides through HP Press; as well as certifications through the HP Institute, allowing students to earn architect-level HP certifications through integrated hands-on experience with remote labs in a classroom environment.
