Gamma Telecom turns 10

Company now has six sites and 550 resellers

Newbury-based telecomms provider Gamma Telecom has this week celebrated a decade in business.

According to the company, staff marked the occasion across its six sites with champagne, a lunch and cake.

"Gamma started out as a fixed-line network operator selling calls and lines, and has since led the way in other services including SIP trunking and hosted services, business MVNA, and has effectively become an ISP, delivering broadband and other business grade data services," said a Gamma statement.

The company works with some 550 channel partners and claims to carry about 13 per cent of the UK's business telephony.

Gamma claimed its success has been partly about investing in quality, web-based services, automation and service differentiation.
