Samsung signed up to school supplier consortium
Vendor becomes a preferred print vendor in North Eastern framework
Samsung has joined Kyocera-Mita on the list of preferred print vendors for the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC).
Dion Smith, general manager of the UK print division at Samsung, said this could widen opportunities for reseller partners that serve the education market.
"The DTP Group, Misco and Phoenix will be working with Samsung and using our products to drive the cost savings the public sector needs to see from this framework," Smith said.
Resellers can incorporate Samsung products into education deals around managed print services, Smith added.
Kyocera-Mita, whose partners include Insight, XMA and Annodata, announced in November that it had been selected as a preferred print vendor by the NEUPC.
