Signagelive ramps up US attack

Move into the Americas firms up with new hire

Digital signage-as-a-service provider Signagelive has appointed a Chicago-based entrepreneur to spearhead its expansion into north and south America.

Jason Cremins (pictured), chief executive officer of Saffron Walden-based Signagelive, said Raffi Vartian, believed to have formerly led related tech start-ups, will be head of strategic development, Americas, for the services provider.

"Vartian is well known and respected in the digital signage industry and a fantastic addition to our team. He brings broad industry experience, a track record of anticipating market trends and a relentlessly positive attitude that will be well received by resellers, strategic partners and end customers," he added.

The new exec will be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships, securing resellers and distributors, and directing marketing strategy for Signagelive's multilingual, web-based digital signage management system, Cremins said.

The company has already seen several deployments in the Americas, via a free, 30-day trial to existing resellers and distribution partners.

Vartian said the Signagelive produce was "amazing" and his new team "impressive".

"And the [Signagelive] business model has the capacity to become the new standard in the industry. I am energised to engage with new and existing partners to share our clear vision for the market," he said.
