Apple moves to block Jobs action doll - report

Apple appears to have moved to block the sale of an action figure of its late founder Steve Jobs.

According to The Telegraph, the vendor has reportedly threatened In Icons – the Chinese firm making the 12in figurine – with legal action.

The plastic doll, which was slated for release in February, comes with Jobs's stock outfit of blue jeans, black turtleneck sweater and trainers. EBay is already punting the toy for $135 (£87) plus delivery.

The Telegraph article claimed Apple has reportedly stipulated in a letter to In Icons that any toy that resembles its logo, a person's name, appearance or likeness of its products is a criminal offence. The vendor has allegedly threatened to sue the toy maker unless it is taken off the market.
