HP PSG unveils new UK channel boss

Hardware giant confirms Pascal Bourguet to lead the HP PSG channel following Trevor Evans' departure

Pascal Bourguet has taken over the channel directorship of HP's PSG division in the UK and Ireland, following the departure of Trevor Evans last month.

As revealed by ChannelWeb, Evans left the hardware giant after seven years for rival vendor Apple.

At the time, Bourguet – who previously led PSG's consumer sales team – was rumoured to have been drafted in as Evans' interim replacement.

Paul Hunter, vice president of HP PSG in the UK and Ireland, said: "We underwent a comprehensive recruitment process for this position and Pascal's capabilities and credentials really stood out.

"He has done an outstanding job of leading the retail team to help drive the UK PSG business to even greater success in 2012," he added.

The vendor also confirmed that long-serving HP PSG sales manager Alex Ebeid has been ushered in as Bourguet's replacement.
