M-Tech Systems bags Semper Software deal

VAR secures reseller rights to vendor's Linux and Windows disaster recovery portfolio

East Sussex-based VAR M-Tech Systems has secured a resale and distribution contract with business continuity vendor Semper Software.

The vendor makes software that allows data on Windows and Linux-powered PCs and servers to be recovered in the event of hardware failure.

The deal allows the VAR, and its parent company M-Technology Group, to supply Semper's products to the UK, Republic of Ireland and an unspecified group of countries in the Middle East.

Ron Grevink, chief executive of Semper Software, said: "We see a tremendous opportunity for our technology in the UK market, and carefully selected a strong partner to represent Semper Software in the UK.

"With the M-Technology Group we have found the right partner and I look forward to joint success in the UK market in 2012," he added.

Martin Lulham, managing director of the M-Technology Group, said: "The technology fills a gap that has been neglected by other vendor solutions [and] we foresee that [the] Semper Continuity Suite will become a key part of our technology offering, as organisations continue to look to lower costs and improve the reliability across their infrastructure."
