GSS bags royal seal of approval
Surrey-based security VAR awarded accolade in recognition of its work for the royal household
Global Secure Systems (GSS), the security arm of storage integrator MTI, has been awarded the Royal Warrant.
The VAR, which was acquired by Surrey-based storage integrator MTI in July, received the warrant on 1 January 2012 in recognition of its work as a provider of IT security services to the royal household.
Royal Warrants are awarded to companies that have supplied goods or services to the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh or the Prince of Wales for at least five years.
David Hobson, director at GSS, described receiving the royal stamp of approval as a great honour for the firm.
"It is a strong endorsement of all the work done for the royal household over many years by all the GSS staff," he said.
Keith Clark, president and chief executive of MTI, added: "The MTI Group is very proud of the contribution and expertise GSS brings to MTI and I congratulate the team on this most prestigious honour."
