Juniper unveils new partner programme

Vendor uses inaugural partner summit to unveil Partner Advantage programme and interactive marketing tools

Interactive marketing is the big buzz-phrase reverberating around Juniper Networks' inaugural Global Partner Conference this week.

As well as unveiling a new partner programme, the networking and security vendor has used the event to debut a range of new social, co-branding and marketing tools for its channel, including a new mobile app for the iPad.

The iPad app features interactive marketing content, such as data sheets, videos, images and case studies.

A new Marketing Concierge Platform offering partners customised content and 24/7 access to Juniper's marketing experts and a "thought leadership and education platform", InnoVAR, have also been unveiled.

Luanne Tierney, vice president, global partner marketing at Juniper, said: "When I joined Juniper Networks a year ago, my goal was to push the limits of traditional marketing and provide partners with instant access to interactive and targeted marketing resources.

"A year later, I'm thrilled to unveil a suite of marketing tools that will give partners instant access to all that Juniper Networks has to offer and promises to promote a more interactive and profitable relationship between partners and their customers."

The event, which has been attended by over 1,000 partners, also played host to the launch of Juniper's Partner Advantage programme.

Featuring new partner segmentation based on Juniper's Network Platform Architectures and new financial and sales resources, Partner Advantage represents the "most significant investment" Juniper has made in its partner programme since its launch.
