NTS hits £9m turnover
Security reseller claims Check Point sales ballooned 70 per cent last year
Reseller Network Technology Solutions (NTS) has proved there is still good growth to be found in the security space after its sales ballooned 40 per cent last year.
The Check Point and Juniper partner claims its unaudited sales for the 12 months to 31 December hit £9m as the number of new customers acquired by the company doubled to 120.
Managing director Jonathan Lassman admitted the London-based firm has endured contrasting fortunes with its two largest vendor partners.
"Our Check Point business grew 70 per cent last year as they gave us a dedicated account manager to drive business with our sales guys," he said. "Juniper visited us once last January and we never saw them again. Our business with them was stagnant."
NTS recently moved its southern HQ to new digs in Fleet Street in a bid to attract top-notch staff. It aims to hit £15m turnover within three years.
But Lassman admitted talented sales consultants are proving hard to find.
"We still have about eight open positions," he said. "Our wage structure is superb – we pay more than pretty much any other reseller."
Lassman said services are a big push area for NTS this year.
"We set a target for where we wanted our services business to be in three years' time and hit 75 per cent of that target last year," he said.
