Centrix signs up SCC
Application monitoring software vendor claims systems integrator is the first of many it plans to sign up
Application monitoring specialist Centrix Software has added integrator SCC to its burgeoning partner network, as it sets its sights on winning more deals in the enterprise market.
The vendor specialises in products which pinpoint applications that need to be retained by users undergoing Windows 7 or virtual desktop migrations.
The news follows Centrix's announcement last month that it was planning to curtail its reseller recruitment plans, and turn its attention to welcoming more systems integrators into its partner fold.
Speaking to ChannelWeb, Lewis Gee, senior vice president of EMEA sales and marketing at Centrix, said SCC was the first of a few SIs it plans to sign up.
"SCC is a good example of the type of companies we are targeting and we are very excited about the type of opportunities they can open up for us in the enterprise market," said Gee.
The vendor's decision to turn its attention upstream is partly down to the popularity of desktop transformation projects in the enterprise space.
"It is also a sign of the company's maturity," he added. "We are at a point where our products are becoming an accepted part of the desktop transformation process and used by companies of all sizes."
Rhys Sharp, chief technology officer at SCC, said: "We already have a strong pipeline of tens of thousands of users that we will be analysing with [Centrix's products] to highlight where they have opportunities to optimise their environments and reduce costs."
