Low to lead C2000 public sector push
Cathi Low returns to distributor after five-year spell at rival Ingram Micro
Former Ingram Micro director Cathi Low has rejoined Computer 2000 to spearhead a public sector push for the distributor.
Low notched up 12 years in various senior roles at C2000 and parent Tech Data before leaving in 2006 to join Ingram Micro. ChannelWeb caught wind of her re-emergence in recent weeks but a statement from C2000 on the matter only emerged this morning.
In her new post as public sector director, Low will launch a "major drive" into the education, healthcare and government sectors, working across all C2000's Collection of Specialist businesses.
Low said: "There are massive opportunities in the public sector, and it is a market in which many resellers are looking for enablement support. I am looking forward to building a team and a set of resources that will enable our partners and customers to build good public sector value propositions that will win them new and profitable business."
Peter Hubbard, managing director UK and Ireland at Computer 2000, said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Cathi back to the company. We are already working with a number of resellers on specific opportunities and there are more in the pipeline, so it is great to have Cathi coming on board at this time."
