Cryptocard launches training push

Authentication vendor announces two certifications for staff at its channel partners

Strong authentication vendor Cryptocard has launched a training and certification programme for its partners' sales staff and engineers.

The two new certifications – Cryptocard Certified Authentication Specialist (CCAS) and Cryptocard Certified Authentication Engineer (CCAE) – will be delivered by Cryptocard distributor e92plus.

Adrian Jones, sales and marketing director at Cryptocard, said: "Cryptocard has seen significant growth over the past year, as the appetite for two-factor authentication has grown dramatically and the traditional barriers to adoption of cost, complexity and scale have been removed.

"We have responded to this by expanding our partner base and instituting a new partner programme. Our industry-standard training and certification will provide resellers with access to the latest training on cloud authentication and authentication technologies available today."

Aimed at pre-sales consultants, CCAS covers areas such as demo training, competitive positioning and RFP delivery. CCAE offers deeper technical training as well as quick diagnosis and problem resolution.

Mukesh Gupta, managing director of Surrey-based e92plus, said: "We are delighted to be delivering Cryptocard's training and certification programme to ensure that resellers have access to all the information and technical know-how required to inform, educate and sell to their customers."
