React starts a Ruckus on Eurostar
VAR wins deal to condense Eurostar's current system into one single ISP
VAR React has bagged a deal with Eurostar to provide high-speed internet access throughout its Business Premier lounges.
Working with vendor Ruckus, React will condense the Eurostar's current system – which uses five ISPs – into one single ISP.
The system will be installed across Eurostar Business Premier Lounges in Ashford, Ebbsfleet and London St Pancras International, Paris Gare du Nord and Brussels-Midi stations.
This will allow Eurostar passengers to move seamlessly from one station to the next without changing service providers, React said.
Jess Thompson-Hughes, managing director of React, said: "We are proud to have been selected by Eurostar as its wireless internet service provider which is provided as a managed service using Ruckus's next-generation technology. This further cements our relationship with best-of-breed customers and suppliers."
Christophe Lemaire, chief information officer at Eurostar, said: "This is one of many enhancements we are making to our service to ensure an optimal digital experience for Eurostar passengers."
