New Business Solutions programme for Lexmark VARs
More focus placed on high-value offerings, says printer manufacturer
Lexmark has unveiled a new EMEA reseller programme for its business channel partners.
According to the vendor, the Business Solutions Dealer (BSD) programme replaces the ValuePrint Programme (LVP) and is all about focusing on what it calls high-value offerings.
Gary Bourland, UK and Ireland general manager at Lexmark, said the programme is about adding more value to its products.
"[It's about] enabling our channel partners to grow their offerings and take advantage of the business opportunities that this will bring," he suggested.
He added that channel partners will still get "exclusive access" to various devices and consumables in the new programme. Some 26 products are included in the programme, from low-end monochrome laser printers to departmental colour MFPs.
Under the BSD programme, existing contracts with channel partners and Lexmark's terms and conditions will remain unchanged, promised the vendor.
