Network Group poaches marketing head
Former DSGi and Equanet marketing manager joins buying group to drive growth
Network Group has poached a marketing manager from DSGi to head up its ambitious growth plans.
Carolyne Rushton (pictured) spent 11 years in various marketing roles at Equanet and PC World Business, and joins Network Group as head of marketing.
She replaces Gemma Telford who left the group late last year to focus on her own marketing organisation.
Rushton's remit will be to build on the strong vendor relationships she has already formed in the channel, and develop campaigns that will drive sales and profitability to the group, its members and vendor partners.
Wayne Cockerill, chairman of Network Group, said: "This has been an exciting year for us as we have continued with our ambitious growth plans. The addition of Carolyne to our team is further evidence of the success of Network Group in what has been a difficult few years for the channel. The foundation is now laid for an even more successful 2012.
Phylip Morgan, managing director of Network Group, added: "Carolyne is enthusiastic, driven and has broad experience in various sectors. We are delighted to have her join our team and drive forward our initiatives.
"We have continued to grow 20-plus per cent every year through the economic downturn and this year, with her help, will be another record year for us."
