Vidyo white-labels videoconferencing for resellers
Telepresence-as-a-service offering expands opportunities for partnership
Videoconferencing vendor Vidyo has kicked off a white-label service provider programme for its global community of resellers.
Ashish Gupta, chief marketing officer and senior vice president of corporate development at Vidyo, said the programme aims to create "an entirely new community" of partners, Vidyo Virtual Network Operators (VVNO), that can co-brand and sell Vidyo's offering to enterprises.
"It will allow carriers, telecommunication services providers, application services providers, distributors or VARs to easily and quickly enter the videoconferencing market without requiring upfront videoconferencing infrastructure investments," he said in a statement.
"The videoconferencing industry has been stymied by hardware-based deployment and pricing models for too long."
According to the vendor, the programme offers simplified pricing for its mobile, multi-point "personal telepresence" services.
