BNP Paribas sweetens the deal for Peach Telecom

Leasing outfit extends partnership with comms services provider

Acquisitive comms services provider Peach Telecom has teamed up with financing heavyweight BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions to help build its channel.

A number of acquisitions have helped the Hampshire-based mini-telco grow rapidly over the past few years, and its £7.1m FY11 turnover helped it to place ninth on this year's Sunday Times Tech Track list.

The firm is now looking to ramp up indirect sales through its dealer channel and is hoping financing packages from the French player will help it do so.

Martin Cook, sales director at Peach Telecom, said: "BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions is a perfect fit for our organisation. They understand our business, have a slick operation and deliver against our specific requirements, such as personalised contracts enabling us to take a seamless, holistic package to our customers."

BNP has deepened its ties with the comms outfit by recently extending its offers to cover Peach's mobile and smart devices unit.

Martin Rix, telecoms sales manager at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, added: "By keeping close to our partners and their markets, we are able to take a proactive stance when it comes to developing solutions for a changing technology landscape."
