Dutch SaaS vendor Omnext jumps into UK
Software development analytics company makes local hire and seeks customers
Netherlands-based software analysis SaaS provider Omnext has taken its first steps into the UK market this week, hiring a local head to woo UK customers.
Jaco de Vries, chief executive at the consultancy and SaaS provider, said in a statement the 12-year-old vendor has been growing its outsourcing-focused customer base.
"We are offering the flexibility of a cloud-based service to more and more internationally operating companies. We are proving that we can provide companies – no matter where they are in the outsourcing chain – with the capability to manage the life cycle costs of applications," de Vries said.
According to Omnext, former National Grid employee Andy Rogers has been hired to spearhead the UK operation over the next few years. Rogers' speciality is developing and aligning information systems capabilities with business objectives.
