SAP claims partners are overlooking newer products
New UK CTO aims to drive awareness of vendor's mobile and cloud technologies among partner base
SAP's new UK chief technology officer has listed getting partners up to speed on the vendor's mobile and cloud computing technologies as his key priority.
In an exclusive interview with CRN sister publication V3, Adrian Simpson claimed that partners are often overlooking SAP's new products in favour of rival offerings from the likes of Saleforce and Good Technology.
Simpson - who spent 11 years at SAP before taking on the newly created role - told V3: "Our partners focus on selling customers SAP applications and analytics technologies, but they just don't seem to know about SAP cloud or mobile products."
