Logicalis becomes first in UK to bag FlexPod datacentre badge
Integrator accredited for Cisco and NetApp kit across sales, design, architecture and implementation
Logicalis has become the first UK NetApp partner to bag the storage vendor's recently launched Data Center – FlexPod Specialisation badge.
The Slough-based integrator has had to prove its mettle across sales, design, architecture and implementation operations and undertake training in best practices. The badge rubber-stamps Logicalis' successful attainment of the Cisco Unified Computing Technology Specialisation and the NetApp Professional Services Certification.
FlexPod is an architectural umbrella for datacentre offerings built around Cisco computing and NetApp storage. Logicalis has already undertaken a number of deployments of the technology, including rollouts for Loughborough University and the Worldskills London event last year.
Tom Kelly, managing director at Logicalis UK, said: "We are committed to leading the way in innovating operational efficiency for our customers. Logicalis has long believed that the maturity of the FlexPod virtual architecture makes it a mainstream approach to deploying private datacentre platforms, already seen in the success of its first deployments.
"We are delighted to be the first to achieve this level of specialisation. It not only demonstrates the ongoing investment to our partnership with NetApp, but also our continued commitment to collaborate on and contribute towards the development of efficient cloud architectures for UK organisations."
