Imerja marks magic million month
Growing VAR snarfs £1m worth of contracts in just one month as 2012 looks set to be a strong year
Bolton-based security, services and mobility specialist Imerja has racked up £1m worth of new business in just one month.
The £1m of new work, all secured in the space of a week, will be spread across a multi-year period, and involve management and support of IT infrastructure using Imerja's 24x7 Secure Operations Centre (ISOC).
Clients signed up to the service include wealth management firm St James' Place, Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool Women's Hospital, along with local government and retail clients.
Ian Jackson, managing director of Imerja, said: “We have had a fantastic start to 2012. We started seeing a trend for managed IT services across our sectors several years ago, which is why we developed m|four, our modular services suite.
“Organisations want to get on with their day jobs with peace of mind that IT problems and security threats are being proactively identified and resolved, but equally they do not want a one-size-fits-all approach. It is great to see our balance of managed services and bespoke solutions development paying off.”
