Civica snags six-figure data management contract

Five-year deal with Wirral Partnership Homes will see LAR supply complete CRM and document management system

Civica has bagged a £300,000 contract with Wirral Partnership Homes to help it manage its growing data burden.

The deal, spanning five years, will see the LAR set up a system that enables its staff to access and manage information more effectively across different departments.

Services provided by Civica will include an electronic post room, tenant internet access and mobile working capabilities. Civica's integrated CRM, EDM and Workflow platform will provide a single point of information access for all staff, enabling them to store its ever-increasing volumes of data securely.

The first phase of the programme implementation involves the back-scanning of 2.5 million documents by Civica Records Management, including house files, property details, garage and HR information, to streamline its administrative workload and enforce automatic record filing.

Colin Arnold, head of ICT at Wirral Partnership Homes, said: “As part of our exciting company 2020 vision, Civica has helped us design new ways of working that enable us to become much more customer focused rather than property focused. We have implemented more than a housing ICT system. We have streamlined processes with easier and more secure access to information which will ultimately enable us to transform our customer service to our tenants.”

John Hood, managing director of housing and asset management at Civica, added: “Having previously worked with Wirral Partnership Homes on its housing repairs management system, we are proud to further optimise Wirral’s services. Our CRM, EDM and workflow system will help Wirral Partnership Homes to substantially streamline its processes."
