Computerlinks spots Infortrend
Distributor pairs up with networked storage vendor as it builds its next-generation datacentre proposition
Computerlinks has grown its vendor stable by signing a deal with networked storage vendor Infortrend.
The VAD claims the deal will complement its networking, security and virtualisation product portfolio, forming a key part of its Next Generation Datacentre proposition. It will also give Computerlink’s customer base access to Infortrend’s ESVA family of enterprise storage products.
Dave Ellis, director of new technology and services at Computerlinks, said: “With today’s datacentre managers demanding high availability and user-friendly management tools to simplify administration, it is vital that the channel has access to the latest and leading technologies.
“This agreement will help our resellers develop their businesses around the increasingly complex needs of IT departments and datacentres. It’s a great partnership for all concerned.”
Rick Dudson, director of sales at Infortrend Europe, added: “Our solutions focus on quality, reliability, choice and value. Partnering with Computerlinks will help even more channel partners deliver these benefits to their clients and in doing so know that they are backed by a comprehensive global support network and one of the best R&D teams in the industry.”
