Nvest expands product training team

Mark Kitchen to take on training and Midwich account roles

Audiovisual training services provider Nvest has expanded its product training team.

Sony district sales manager Mark Kitchen has been hired by Nvest as product trainer and Midwich account manager, Nvest said in a statement, with a view to enabling Nvest to guarantee product training anywhere in the UK within five days of installation.

Pip Thomas, managing director of Nvest, said: "His skills and experience are exactly what we want: someone who focuses on individual skills, ensures delegates get hands-on with their new products and are comfortable and confident in their use."

Thomas added that Nvest would now also be able to bring forward the rollout of its new remote training programme, to complement the face-to-face training provided at its own or its customers' offices.

Kitchen (pictured) will train users of products from vendors including Smart, Hitachi, LG, Samsung, signagelive, LifeSize and Polycom across the South-East. He will also work with Midwich to develop training available for the distributor's diverse portfolio, Nvest said.

Before working at Sony, Kitchen was a Samsung retail support manager.
