PNY to distribute Tyan HPC servers direct to resellers

EMEA-wide strategic distribution partnership on fast server platforms

Manufacturer PNY Technologies has signed up to distribute server platforms from MiTAC subsidiary Tyan direct to resellers across the EMEA region.

Jérôme Belan, EMEA chief executive of PNY, said Tyan's full range of Nvidia Tesla GPU-based HPC servers will be made available through PNY's regional channel partner network.

"This complements our existing professional graphics cards product portfolio," he said. "We plan to work closely with our channel partners and systems integrators to increase Tyan's visibility and market share in EMEA."

PNY Technologies also makes and supplies Flash memory cards, USB Flash drives, SSD, HDMI cables, memory upgrade modules, Nvidia GeForce consumer graphics cards and Nvidia Quadro professional graphics cards.

Tyan designs, manufactures and markets advanced x86 and x86-64 server/workstation board technology, platforms and server products.
