Cisco tells Axonex to bring its own

VAR is one of four globally selected to take part in BYOD pilot

Axonex has revealed it is one of four partners selected by Cisco to drive its bring-your-own-device (BYOD) strategy as part of a global pilot programme.

The move means Axonex will be at the forefront of communicating the networking giant’s BYOD message, based on the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and AnyConnect Technologies.

Axonex was recently unveiled as the first Authorised Technology Partner for Cisco’s ISE.

Tom Bane, Axonex director, said: “The accelerating growth of IT consumerisation has had a significant impact on users of tablets and personal mobile devices requesting access to company networks.

“Being invited by Cisco to participate in this global programme highlights the recognition by Cisco of our ATP accreditations and market position, which will allow our customers early access to these solutions,” he added.
