Cisco House opens beside Olympic Park
Partners may also be guests at new business transformation showcase
Resellers and other partners could soon be invited to partake of Cisco's hospitality at the vendor's new technology centre beside Olympic Park.
Cisco House, which will be open for five months and is expected to attract 11,000 visitors, has panoramic views over Olympic Park and the main stadium and showcases a range of "connected" and "transformational" business technologies, according to a statement from the vendor.
"The house is nestled in a unique rooftop location above [mall] Westfield Stratford City," it said. "Key to this is an engaging multimedia business transformation journey that looks at how innovative organisations are using the network today, as well as the opportunities they can look forward to in the future. In addition, a ‘This is London' section takes visitors on a virtual city tour of the evolution of technology in the capital."
A spokesperson for the vendor indicated that resellers could well be invited along to enjoy the centre at a range of Games-related events. The centre also has communications pods, meeting and boardroom facilities, and will show sports events and case studies to visitors via its series of plasma screens.
