MoreFrom.me celebrates 1,000-store milestone

Firm that supplies online storefronts to resellers racks up 1,000 customers in just nine months

E-commerce specialist MoreFrom.Me is celebrating after passing the 1,000-store mark just nine months after going live.

The service gives resellers and retailers the chance to run their own online IT store, based on the template of tried-and-tested e-tailer MoreComputers.com.

With no upfront fees, resellers are supplied with a white-labelled web store pre-populated with more than 140,000 products from 21 distributors.

Resellers also receive a guaranteed one per cent margin on everything they sell, with the option to earn up to 13.5 per cent margin if they choose to upsell.

Commission is paid as credit, and the MoreComputers team processes payments, fulfils orders, and deals with distribution and overseas delivery, as well as handling customer service and returns.

Chris Wheater, managing director and founder of the MoreFrom.Me concept, said: “Having 1,000 people take up the idea proves it is a cost-effective e-commerce solution for the channel. We have reached this landmark in just eight months and the feedback from our partners has been great.”

Neil Guy, one of the early adopter partners, said: “We reviewed a number of e-commerce concepts before selecting this one. The package proved the most cost-effective option that would also deliver the highest profit margin.

“It is a good fit with our business model and it was quick and easy to set up, providing us with a web store complete with thousands of products from major distributors, leaving us to concentrate on providing installation and configuration services to our customers.”
