Dell scouts for Server Masters

Vendor's latest sales tool will help partners identify, qualify and close server and datacentre deals, it claims

Dell aims to open up a host of opportunities for its channel in the server and datacentre space with the launch of its Server Master tool.

The tool is an online sales resource that brings together all of the vendor's sales and marketing information on servers under one interface.

It helps partners identify the correct server solution for their needs, with four 'solution pillars' for partners to access information: Collaboration, Virtualisation; Cloud and 12th Generation Servers.

Kathy Schneider, executive director of channel marketing and programmes, Europe at Dell, said: "The Server Master platform is part of the continued development of our PartnerDirect programme.

"It enables partners to quickly and efficiently provide their sales teams with the tools they need to improve productivity and performance.

"The Server Master tool helps our partners by enabling them to access the right information at the right time for each sales opportunity."

Dell's latest 'Master' launch follows the unveiling of its Storage Master tool January.
