French Apple reseller hits the wall after legal spat

EBizcuss, the French VAR who accused Apple of anti-competitive behaviour six months ago, is being wound up by the Commercial Court of Paris

Gallic reseller eBizcuss has hit the wall following its legal spat with the Apple.

EBizcuss – which operated eight Apple Premium Reseller stores in France and Belgium – filed a suit against Apple in December, claiming the vendor had been unfairly favouring its own stores when doling out supplies of new products.

Reports emerged yesterday that the firm is going into liquidation, a fact eBizcuss confirmed in a short statement on its website this evening. According to Reuters, following a judgement on 31 May, the Commercial Court of Paris has opted to initiate winding-up proceedings for all the reseller's businesses. Its activities will continue for three months to organise a takeover plan, with offers required to be received by 20 June.

At the time of eBizcuss' legal challenge, APRs on the continent and in the UK stepped forward to express their sympathy with eBizcuss' plight, albeit anonymously.eBizcuss.com Announces Judicial Liquidation Procedure
