Mike Farrah, commercial director at Ingram Micro, said: “We are constantly listening to the needs of our customer base – we already have a broad portfolio of components products, but it is important that we maintain our leading breadth, availability and competitive price by working with new partners.”
Farrah added: “With recent product shortages in some areas, our breadth of product and worldwide scale of availability allowed us to make product available to the SMB reseller when others couldn’t, while our expanded portfolio of netbooks and smartphones is driving increased sales for memory and SSD products. The Lexar and Crucial brands will further cement our position as the distributor of choice for memory and storage products.”
Paul Reynolds, regional sales manager at Crucial, added: “We are pleased to have Ingram Micro UK on board as a new distributor. The agreement significantly increases our reach into the UK channel and allows resellers across the country to access our wide and award-winning range of products from a reliable and experienced, local distributor.”
