CRS targets big-hiring resellers
Resellers planning to recruit ten or more staff over next 12 months offered helping hand by IT channel recruitment outfit
IT channel recruitment outfit Channel Recruitment Solutions (CRS) has unleashed a programme for big-hiring resellers.
The package, which is open only to VARs harbouring plans to hire ten or more staff over the next 12 months, will see CRS produce a ‘talent pool' database tailored to each VAR's needs. Only ten spaces are available, so as to avoid geographical and product overlaps.
Candidates in the talent pool will be kept aware of news relating to their potential employers, including product launches and new business wins.
The number of places has been limited to ensure the chosen VARs are not "tripping over the same talent", said CRS managing director Gary Janes.
"To build a talent pool and educate target candidates on the benefits of joining a particular company takes time. 12 months is long enough to get a talent pool to a point where a VAR can take over," he said.
CRS will also lend its expertise on developing employment branding, competency interviewing technique and candidate management through social media. Should a VAR change its recruitment plans, CRS will only charge for the service they receive.
"People recruiters are notorious for only finding and sending CVs and then charging substantial fees," said Janes. "Many VARs do not see the value of the traditional recruitment model."
Qualification for the process began this month with the full programme set to go live on 1 July.
