Cavalcade of contracts boosts ConvergeOne

Salford-based Cisco, VMware and NetApp reseller in bullish mood after series of new additions and deal wins

Ambitious VAR ConvergeOne is celebrating a tranche of new hires and a string of contract wins that have taken its order book value to record levels.

The Mancunian Cisco, VMware and NetApp partner has so far this year inked deals with clients including Napthens Solicitors, Morson Projects, Star Perfumes, Lexon pharmaceuticals and Metropolitan Housing. The value of the reseller's contract wins in the year to date is £1.4m.

ConvergeOne has also increased its headcount in the past year and now employs 19 staff at its headquarters at Salford's MediaCity. Recent additions include client services professional Clare McKnight and sales executive Michael Stevens. Technical staff have also been added in Manchester and London and a number of youngsters are currently undertaking the firm's apprenticeship programme.

"We have a fantastic team of dedicated people, a solid client base in the north west and we are excited about the future. We know it will be tough to maintain our current rate of success but we are confident that 2012 will be a good year for us."
