Azlan's McGregor takes central role

UK boss moves up to Azlan central with immediate effect

Azlan UK boss Colin McGregor is moving to a new role at Azlan central with immediate effect, CRN has learned.

In his new role, he will report directly to Simon England, managing director Europe at Azlan, based at the firm's York office.

McGregor joined Azlan from consultancy firm Demuto in July last year after he left rival Bell the previous summer following its acquisition by Avnet.

The move marks the second time in 18 months that the UK boss position has become vacant, after the departure of former Azlan head honcho Ian French, back in March 2011.

Confirming the move, Andy Dow, marketing director at C2000, said: "Colin has gone to work at Azlan Central on Simon England's team."

He said the firm already has candidates in mind to fill the role.

"An announcement will be made in a few weeks about [Colin's] replacement at Azlan UK," he added.
