ChIP off the old Kyocera block
Chiltern IT Parts signs to offer Kyocera parts with next-day or same-day service
Oxford-based reseller Chiltern IT Parts (ChIP) is now offering printer and MFP parts from Kyocera to UK customers.
Tony Price, managing director of ChIP, said in a statement that the relationship is new.
"We want to have a multi-manufacturer offer and Kyocera wants to further extend the support available to its channel partners. We have a reputation for quality-tested new and used products, fast delivery, friendly service and competitive prices," he declared.
Charlotte Elmer (pictured), IT channel sales manager at Kyocera, claimed the vendor wanted more distributors.
"This could provide better operational support and more availability and choice in where to buy spares. Chiltern IT will provide us with further operational efficiencies and offer an impressive delivery service to our partners," she said.
ChIP has supplied parts for 20 years to trade customers as well as directly to end users. It claims to hold 100,000 items ready for dispatch on next- or same-day delivery terms.
Vendors include Dell and HP.
