ScanSource announces nine-month rewards programme

Resellers encouraged to compete for a range of prizes until 31 March 2013

Distributor ScanSource Europe has taken the wraps off a nine-month reseller growth and incentive programme to mark its tenth anniversary.

Maurice van Rijn, Europe managing director for POS and barcoding at ScanSource, claimed the programme, Destination ScanSource, offers reseller benefits longer term as well as a range of prizes.

"If resellers can successfully implement our value-added tools and services while introducing new product ranges into their portfolios, it has the potential to make them stronger and more efficient outfits beyond the programme and to provide them with a strong base for future growth," van Rijn said in a statement.

ScanSource offers automatic data collection, EPoS and mobility product and all purchases may count towards the targets, which have to be achieved by 31 March 2013.

The Destination ScanSource programme is the distributor's first to combine different vendors' offerings into one single growth campaign, according to ScanSource.

The 20 leading performers in each quarter will also receive rewards, with prizes being offered in such a way that VARs can use them to provide incentives to their own sales teams across Europe, according to the distributor.
